Position Summary
SRBR is looking for a talented UX Designer to lead the UX Design Part of Samsung Research Brazil, being responsible for both technical and strategic design activities.
Our ideal candidate is a skilled UX designer with deep knowledge and experience of mobile UX projects, who's ready to engage on technical activities for UI and GUI design guidelines, mentor other designers and act as a project leader, being responsible for main project design decisions, deliverables and milestones.
Key Responsibilities
[Sensing opportunities and building strategic direction] Finding regional insights and opportunity areas representative of Brazil, and develop seed projects for the future of Samsung Business.
[Project planning and Execution] responsible of internal/external resource allocation. Lead UX project with given quality and due date.
[Communication] We have so many internal/external clients to work with. Sometimes support engineers, work with other designers in Brazil or South Korea (HQ), and communicate external partners. Reporting to the head of Lab regularly, but sometimes report to the Managing Director in SRBR directly.
[UX part management] Participate in task management and performance analysis to achieve organization goals. Manage team performance and individual design talents.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on UX design experience of interaction design, information architecture, concept definition, basic UX design, detail UX design and usability test
At least 1 commercialization experience of UX design within a past 1 year. (Portfolio is mandatory)
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; fluency and confidence in inspiring teammates and partners with user-driven rationale
Good at influencing stakeholders about user needs, acting as a persuasive advocate for those needs.
Experience of working with other designers, developers or marketers
Expert level of design tools (ex: Adobe suite, Sketch)
Determined and tenacious, persistent and focused on the end results.
Collaborative and good at building relationships. Working with colleagues across all areas of the organization and beyond to achieve one mission.
An excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills, confident working with individuals at all levels.
Good at influencing, driving impact and implementing change.
Pragmatic and adaptable with the ability to deal with ambiguity and effectively manage through conflict.
