Tasks

Covalo is looking to add a highly talented and motivated Customer Success Manager to onboard customers and handle ongoing customer requests. As one of the first customer success managers you will play an integral role in ensuring customer acquisition, satisfaction and retention.

You will...

Be a pioneer by contributing to an innovative marketplace and SaaS for the consumer goods industry
Since the team is small you will work hands-on to both speak with customers to understand their needs as well as implement these requests (this role is a hybrid across customer success, account management, and customer support roles)
Be the first and main point of contact for customers once the sales team have closed a deal (for onboarding and ongoing requests and questions) - customers will consist of a variety of companies within the beauty industry including small and large brands as well as suppliers
Work with sales and product teams to stay up-to-date on platform functionality and relay relevant information to customers accordingly; communicate customer feedback to the appropriate sales, marketing or product teams in a timely manner
Set up a customer onboarding and customer request/inquiry management process

Requirements

2+ years of customer-facing experience in customer success/support, account management, client services or sales -- ideally within a start-up or dynamic, fast-moving business
Customer Success is the face of Covalo so you must be passionate about establishing a trusting relationship with our customers to drive engagement and to deeply understand their needs
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills including managing the expectations of customers and handling critical feedback
Experience receiving, processing and organizing large amounts of customer feedback and communicating this internally to other teams
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish, support and maintain customer relationships
You're comfortable working in an agile environment and with cross-functional teams
Ideally experience supporting B2B clients in the beauty industry and/or industrial/B2B software applications
Ideally have a background in the beauty industry and/or chemical industry
Entrepreneurial, growth mindset and driven, hands-on attitude that takes full ownership of work
Team player with high integrity and ability to work independently with self-motivation
Have experience working remotely
Detail-oriented and a problem solver
Ability to be flexible if things change
Passion for sustainability and the green movement
Interest in the Beauty industry and/or other consumer goods sectors
Fluency in English is a must - further languages are beneficial
Bonus would be experience in Beauty, Food, and/or Home Care industries
