At Bandora we are creating the future of energy management for smart buildings. Buildings are one of the top energy consumers in the world amounting for around one third of the global CO2 emissions. At the same time, maintaining comfortable indoor conditions is often a challenge, especially for commercial buildings. Bandora’s cloud-based platform gathers real-time IoT data from systems inside a building, and provides dashboards, analytics, anomaly detection and automation with the goal of eliminating energy waste and improving occupant comfort. Our mission is smarter, greener, and more comfortable buildings.
Partner with the software and data science teams in developing and maintaining our data pipeline and infrastructure.
Work with a diversity of data types and sources that must feed into a wide range of applications including dashboards, analytics and monitoring, AI engines, etc.
Own the data infrastructure: evaluate performance and quality, suggest improvements and actively contribute to the design of the data platform and the data architecture.
MS Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar area.
3 years experience.
Broad knowledge of the data engineering field and the available technologies and tools.
(Strong foundation (data structures, data modeling, relational databases, SQL).)
Advanced programming skills with Python.
Experience with NoSQL databases, especially document and graph. Know-how with MongoDB is a big plus.
Experience with AWS is a big plus.
Experience with data stream or big data frameworks is a plus.
Fluent in English with good communication skills.
