Covalo is looking to add a highly talented and motivated Digital Marketing Manager to execute and help define our marketing strategies across various channels with a focus on digital. As one of the first marketing managers you will play an integral role in ensuring that our marketing measures effectively generate leads, convert well into sign-ups on our platform, and help grow our community of consumer goods industry players.
Be a pioneer by contributing to an innovative marketplace and SaaS for the consumer goods industry
Work hands-on to do the following: manage our editorial calendar, regularly create and publish social media posts, blog articles, and sponsored content for our clients, send out e-mail marketing newsletters, assist with off-page SEO activities, help manage online campaigns, manage partner and influencer relationships, support with tradeshow and webinar organization, set up automated workflows to automate relevant marketing processes, and aggregate analytics on conversion and performance, among other things
Stay on top of topics and creative content inspiration that would be relevant for our target group (currently the main target group consists of formulators and R&D teams in the beauty industry)
Report directly to the CMO and act as her right hand in ensuring meticulous implementation of marketing measures
Work with sales, customer success and product teams to stay up-to-date on platform functionality and work together with sales and customer success to assist in keeping customers and users informed about platform updates
Must be a native English speaker
2+ years of experience as a marketing manager with a focus on digital -- ideally within a start-up or dynamic, fast-moving business in the B2C or B2B space
Bonus if you have a chemistry or cosmetic science background and/or experience in the beauty industry
Experience driving high-converting digital campaigns, e-mail marketing newsletters and organic social media content production and publishing as well as SEO topics
You love writing eye-catching, creative copy and producing beautiful graphics
You love numbers and making sure all content is trackable in terms of conversion tracking and ROI measurement
Bonus if you love automation and have experience setting up automated workflows in HubSpot
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Experience with HubSpot and Canva a plus. Other tools used include Google Analytics, Matomo and Kibana
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish, support and maintain relationships with industry influencers who help to produce some of our content
