OutSystems Professional Services team works in strategic and high-profile development processes to deliver innovative solutions to our customers, using the OutSystems platform. We are focused on consistently delivering great applications, that solve real problems, surpass expectations and wow the users.The UX/UI Delivery Lead is responsible to manage a team of designers, ensuring the success of our services through ongoing support, coaching, mentorship and skills development of this extraordinary team.
As lead and mentor, this profile must combine great soft and technical skills with a solid knowledge of UX’s best practices. This is a key role to evangelize to high quality experiences in the company and in our customers.
Assist UX and UI designers, coaching and mentoring them in on the job context;
Support designers on their individual development plans, defining and putting in place the needed training plans;
Follow up with project teams to understand issues within the team and to help people and projects to overcome the topics at hand;
Work closely with the Head of Practices and Product Management team on strategic initiatives to promote the continuous improvement of his area of expertise;
Be an OutSystems culture ambassador, acting as a role model and act as a catalyst for the team dynamics promoting knowledge sharing.
Help and supervise the designers in crafting digital experiences in low and high-fidelity for web responsive and mobile native apps;
Articulate design decisions and communicate them to product, business and technology leaders;
Support the team in guiding customers through the crafted vision and help them understand the impact of what they’re doing for the business and for the users;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process;
Evangelize human-centered approaches across the organization, throughout daily practice and workshops;
Being ready for a company and team culture that challenges the status-quo, and keeps the customer’s journey to success at the center of all decisions.
Experience in leading UX/UI teams;
People and customer oriented, with passion for personal development and skills growth;
High level of creativity and ability to think-out-of-the-box;
Good communicator with personal energy and ability to inspire teams and individuals;
Transparency and ability to establish trusting and supportive relationships;
The ability to work across geographies and cultures;
Fluency in English, written and spoken (mandatory).
