This role is ideal for a Localization specialist who's looking to break into UX writing. You'll take ownership of the localization process and be tasked with using UX writing skills to make Dashlane a better product.
The successful candidate can work at our Lisbon or Paris office or remotely from anywhere in Portugal or France—with English as a working language. We offer relocation support.
Take full ownership of the management and prioritization of translation requests across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Support, and Legal
In your capacity as a UX writer on one of our Outcome teams, you will deliver top-notch copy that injects simplicity and delight into the user experience
Work with the UX Voice Team to help us develop our B2B brand voice in twelve languages in markets across Europe, Asia, and the Americas
Collaborate with product designers in creating delightful, effortless UX solutions—and help them craft well-balanced layouts with fine-tuned copy
Write microcopy that will be translated into multiple languages
Ensure our Style Guide and glossaries are kept up-to-date
Drive awareness within the organization and establish yourself as the primary point of contact for localization at Dashlane
Manage the localization process that includes the creation of translation jobs, review and QA, and delivery
Manage all communication with external linguists and our translation partner
Provide support to localization initiatives across departments, including Product Marketing, Brand, Creative, Support, CRM
Investigate ways to improve localization efficiency and quality by exploring new tools based on needs (e.g. new CAT platforms, etc.)
2+ years of localization experience in a digital product
Full professional proficiency in English
Is an autonomous doer who can lead Localization and magnify its impact
Possesses impeccable English writing skills and a superior command of grammar, style, tone, and rhythm of language
Has a professional-grade proficiency in a second language (e.g. French, or another language that the Dashlane Product is localized in)
Has natural project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
A keen eye for errors and obsessive-level of attention to detail
Has a track record of writing compelling UX copy that contributes to reaching business goals and solving user needs
Can craft language in a way that makes technical and complicated ideas appear simple and accessible
Is a naturally gifted communicator and can confidently talk about copy decisions to individuals and groups
Wants to be part of a high-performing team and embraces a fast-paced startup culture
