In the Mercedes-Benz Omnichannel Commerce Unit (MB.OC), we create customer experiences for the Web and App channels. We focus on the entire customer journey by using platform solutions that enable our customers’ different touchpoints across cars, products, and services around the car.
With products such as Car Configurator, Cars Online Shops, the Mercedes Owner Area “Mercedes Me Home” and many more, we are building a seamless experience for our customers.
The basis for those are our Platform and Backend-Systems, which are enabling our solutions for both global usage as well as the pillar for additional channels, such as Retail and In Car Solutions.

Become part of our international design team. We create and provide an excellent innovative and user centered user experience for digital products and services of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and vans.
Our products are websites and apps for end customers, business users and even employees of Mercedes-Benz for almost every market in the world.
Identify user needs, goals, behaviours, and pain points together with our UX Researchers
Create wireframes, low-, mid- and high-fidelity prototypes, validate and identify issues with the UI, and work towards solutions.
Working closely with the design system team
Working with or within the design system to provide the design to the organization.
Developing overarching Design Principles as a visual framework which can be transferred to UI, Interaction, Content and Frontend Developers
Research on best practices within and outside the automotive industries
Methodical validation of deliverables
Degree in Design (Interface Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design) or a comparable degree
You have at least 7 years of significant experience focused on UI design for larger brands/companies preferable for complex web-based applications for desktop and mobile devices
A detail and quality oriented mind
Strong understanding and experience with design systems and modular design approaches
Worked with luxury brands already
Deep understanding and passion for human-machine interfaces, including a deep understanding of UI principles
Ability to self-organize and complete tasks independently.
Good self-assessment and experience in estimating own tasks in an agile work environment.
Ability to identify and address necessary tasks.
Great communication skills to be able to articulate your design decisions to the entire team and our partners

Fluent in English both verbally and written, German or Portuguese is optional
