Feedzai is looking for an experienced UX Designer to create engaging, useful experiences for our customers.
You are a self-starter with excellent user experience design, interaction design, information architecture and user testing skills. You have the ability to think strategically, act pragmatically, and have the tenacity, energy and passion to innovate and implement change within the time and resource constraints of a quickly growing startup environment. You have proven expertise turning complex business problems into simple and engaging product experiences, driving design decisions to make the user’s job easier. You are open to accepting, acting on, and giving constructive criticism. You know how to make data and insights shine through visualizations that carry impact, and are a master at creating harmonious experiences.
Our brand is about both trust and quality so it’s essential we convey both through polished, intuitive, elegant user experiences. You will work in an open and iterative environment, releasing early and often, following agile (SCRUM) methodologies to create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for testing and development.
Collaborate and develop mutual respect and trust with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and other Designers to create useful and engaging experiences
Create research proposals and plans for in-person and remote qualitative and quantitative research studies, including contextual inquiries, concept reviews, and usability testing
Work with Product Managers to gather requirements, create personas, user journeys, storyboards, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups and prototypes
Define requirements for A/B and multivariate testing of designed features
Work with developers to ensure pixel-perfect UI implementation
Champion ideas and proposals, and lead change; be insightful and employ design thinking, and creative innovation
Lead and support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting your deadlines
5+ years of experience working on all aspects of the UX process - from defining user needs, to developing concepts, to validating designs, to reviewing implemented designs to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in HCI, Design, Computer Science, or the equivalent practical experience
Deep understanding of lean UX practices and processes, including user-centered design and research
Excellent understanding of relevant standards and best practices for design of modern, data-rich, and responsive applications
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma and Invision
Experience designing compelling and useful data visualizations is highly desirable, but not required
